Kalyn Medeiros

Kalyn has been an industry professional since 2013, but her love of hair stems from childhood. She attended UMass Amherst and earned a BA in English before attending cosmetology school, and truly believes the communication skills gained have made her a better stylist. She continues to make education a priority and is always taking classes and learning new techniques.

Skills-wise, her focus is balayage/blonding services, creative color, and bridal/formal styling, but she does it all! She loves bringing visions to life and making hair dreams come true. She also focuses heavily on hair health, and prioritizes the integrity of your hair above all. 

Kalyn strives to deliver personalized results, from your color and cut to your overall experience, and hopes each and every person who spends time in her chair feels like they are visiting a friend. She feels lucky to work alongside some of her closest friends and wants clients to feel just as at-home at Bloom as she does!
